Location Decisions

I went out scouting for possible locations, these are the select few which were acceptable in most areas of safety and production.

Outside the main hall due to the amount of light and space we would have, this is especially great because we will always have this area free during media. The disadvantages to this area are the fact that we have to use natural light which is always changing.

Technology Department was another viable place to shoot the advertisement as there was plenty of windows for light to get in and the product is positioned there so there won't be any misdirection to whether we're allowed to move it or when, if we can. The disadvantages include if it is too bright, there is nothing i can do because there is no blinds, and in lesson times there will be loads of clothes and bags on the hooks so we will have to plan ahead for when we wan't to shoot there.

The atrium is a viable place to shoot as it has a glass roof, this means that a lot of light can get in. The problems with this place is that it will rarely be free and if its rainy there would be too much noise, and if its cloudy then there will be not enough light.

Information/ Description of product.

The product we have chosen is a surreal side table designed by Steve Mclean for technology, this product has been made out of MDF wood in which he would have used an industrial white spray paint to make it seem smoother, then he polished it and added a metal handle on, the metal handle would be better because it will be easier on the hands than a wooden one. Damages aren't a problem with this material, with a little bit of industrial spray, most scratches will come out easily without extensive repair.

Working Title - Snapple

Snapple

Our brand name for our product

Our decided name is 'Snapple' we believe that this is a suitable name because it is quick and snappy. I believe this name is unique and will be rememberable for the audience and gives a good insight to what our company is about.
